You Are More Than What Happened to You.

People often learn how to function without learning how to heal.

Life's experiences may have shaped your story, but they do not have to define your future. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you deserve more than temporary relief. At R3 Counseling Group, we help people move beyond symptom management toward lasting restoration because healing isn't about becoming someone new; it's about rediscovering the person you were always created and capable of being.

You Are More Than What Happened to You. Understand that what you don’t process, processes you.

Understand this: what you don't process eventually begins to process you. Unprocessed pain has a way of shaping how you think, what you believe about yourself, how you relate to others, and how you move through life. Experiences such as rejection, trauma, grief, disappointment, abandonment, or betrayal were never meant to become the lens through which you see yourself or your future.

At R3 Counseling Group, we believe you are more than your symptoms, your survival strategies, or your past. Through compassionate, evidence-based counseling and a restoration-centered approach, we help people move beyond merely managing pain toward healing the deeper wounds that stand in the way of living fully. Because healing isn't about becoming someone new, it's about rediscovering the person you were always created and capable of being.

Pain that is not processed doesn't disappear, it settles into your beliefs, your relationships, your decisions, and your identity. Healing begins when what has been buried is finally brought into the light

Why Choose R3?

Meet Dr. Donna

I Believe Healing is Possible.

Over the years, I haven't simply come to understand mental health,I have come to understand the resilience, the pain, and the extraordinary capacity for restoration within the human soul. That understanding shapes every conversation we have and every person we serve.

For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, families, leaders, and communities through some of life's most difficult moments. Over the years, one truth has revealed itself again and again:

Many people learn how to function without learning how to heal.

They become successful while silently struggling. They carry responsibilities while neglecting themselves. They survive rejection, trauma, grief, disappointment, and loss, yet continue moving forward believing that surviving is the same as healing.

It isn't.

My work was born from a deep desire to understand not only why people hurt, but how they truly heal. I have come to understand that beneath anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, burnout, grief, and many of life's struggles, there is often a deeper story waiting to be understood. I have learned that people are rarely defined by their symptoms. More often, they are carrying experiences that have shaped how they see themselves, how they relate to others, and how they move through the world.

That is why I founded R3 Counseling Group.

I believe people are not problems to be fixed. They are human beings whose lives, identities, relationships, and sense of purpose deserve to be restored. My passion is creating a place where people feel safe enough to lay down what they have been carrying, process what has remained unspoken, and rediscover the strength, dignity, and wholeness that have always been within them.

When you walk through our doors, you will not be reduced to a diagnosis or defined by your past. You will be met with compassion, respect, and clinical excellence by a team committed to walking alongside you with care, wisdom, and hope.

Whether this is your first step toward counseling or a continuation of your healing journey, know this:

You do not have to carry your story alone anymore. We are here to walk with you, believe in you, and help you move beyond surviving toward lasting restoration.

I have learned that healing begins the moment people no longer feel they have to carry their pain alone. Every person deserves a place where they are seen beyond their symptoms, heard beyond their words, and valued beyond what has happened to them."

"For the first time, I understood what was really happening."

- Michelle

"I came to counseling believing I needed help with anxiety. What I discovered was that my anxiety wasn't the real issue, it was years of unprocessed experiences that had shaped how I saw myself. Dr. Donna helped me understand my story in a way no one ever had. I didn't just learn how to cope; I learned how to heal. That has changed every area of my life."
"I stopped surviving and started living."

- Malcolm

"For years I thought I was doing fine because I was functioning. I was successful professionally, but emotionally exhausted. Counseling helped me realize there is a difference between surviving and truly living. I finally found peace I didn't know was possible."
"She helped me understand me."

- Danielle

"I've been to counseling before, but this experience was completely different. Dr. Donna has an incredible ability to help you understand yourself. She doesn't just listen to what you're saying, she helps you uncover what has been shaping your thoughts, emotions, and relationships for years. I left every session with greater clarity and hope."
"It wasn't about fixing me."

- Anthony

"What stood out most was that I never felt judged or treated like something was wrong with me. From the very beginning, I felt respected. Dr. Donna helped me see that I wasn't broken, I was carrying pain that had never been processed. That perspective changed everything."
"Our marriage didn't just improve, we were restored."

- James & Erica

We came looking for help with communication, but we discovered our struggles ran much deeper. Dr. Donna helped us understand how our individual experiences were influencing our marriage. We didn't just learn communication skills, we learned to understand each other differently. Our relationship is stronger than we ever imagined."
"I finally felt safe enough to tell my story."

- Lauren

"Finding someone you can trust with your most painful experiences isn't easy. From my first session, I felt emotionally safe. I never felt rushed, judged, or misunderstood. Every conversation reminded me that healing was possible. R3 became a place where I could finally breathe again."
"This wasn't symptom management, it was restoration."

- Kevin

"What impressed me most was that counseling never stopped at the surface. Instead of only focusing on what I was feeling, we explored why I was feeling it. I began understanding patterns that had followed me for years. The result wasn't temporary relief, it was lasting change."
"My family is healthier because I chose to heal."

- Nicole

"I originally came for myself, but what happened in counseling impacted my entire family. I became more emotionally aware, learned healthier ways to communicate, and finally let go of things I had carried for years. Healing didn't stop with me, it changed how I show up as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend. I ended up bringing my entire family because one person can reshape an entire family and I wanted my family healed."
Every restoration journey is unique, but one truth remains the same: when people are given a safe place to heal, they discover they are capable of far more than simply surviving.

Mountain Peak

Many people are surviving from places that were never restored.

Life experiences such as trauma, grief, loss, rejection, chronic stress, relational injury, and major transitions can disrupt how people see themselves, process emotions, build relationships, and move through life.

Many individuals receive support for symptoms while the deeper disruptions affecting identity, beliefs, emotional wellness, relationships, and purpose remain unaddressed. The result can be temporary relief without sustainable transformation.

Pain Points

Unresolved emotional wounds

Identity confusion

Relationship conflict

Grief, loss, and life transitions

Generational dysfunction

R3 exists to address what sits beneath the surface — because restoration goes deeper than symptom management.
